Rockwool Peninsular is the Spanish subsidiary of Rockwool Group, the first global manufacturer and leading producer of volcanic rock wool products (thermal, acoustic and flame-retardant insulation), founded 75 years ago in Denmark. The company currently employs more than 10,000 people in more than 30 countries and has 25 factories in Europe, America and Asia.

More than half a century ago, the Swedish multinational SFK wanted to expand its activities in Spain. They chose Tudela, in the south of Navarra for its strategic location, and in 1971 they began work on what would become one of the corporation’s most advanced production plants.
