Navarre is strengthening its position as a benchmark in industrialised construction, with at least 4,450 homes built using this model over the past five years, according to sector data.
The adoption of industrialised building techniques – based on off-site manufacturing, modular systems and digital processes – is gaining momentum across the region, driven by its ability to improve efficiency, reduce construction times and enhance sustainability.
In fact, up to 75% of the homes developed in Navarre since 2021 incorporate some level of industrialisation, reflecting a structural shift in the regional construction sector towards more advanced and scalable production models.
This transformation is being led in part by private developers such as Abaigar, Adania and Aedas Homes, which have already launched large-scale residential projects based on industrialised construction systems in the region.
Industrialised housing offers significant advantages in terms of quality control, cost predictability and environmental performance, while also helping to address labour shortages and improve productivity in the construction industry.
Navarre’s ecosystem – combining specialised construction firms, industrial capabilities and strong public-private collaboration – provides a favourable environment for the development of these solutions. Recent projects in the region highlight the growing integration of sustainable materials and digital technologies, reinforcing the transition towards a more efficient and low-impact building model.
