Two major Chinese energy companies, ChinaLink ESGT and Energy China, have visited Navarra to explore business opportunities in the renewable energy and green hydrogen sectors. Both groups are part of a global energy conglomerate, and their interest follows the recent institutional mission to China carried out by the regional authorities.

During the meeting, held at the Palacio de Navarra with the participation of the regional president and representatives from the sector, discussions focused on the potential to develop clean-energy projects in the region, as well as to promote industrial investment linked to the energy transition.

These exchanges confirm Navarra’s growing position as an attractive hub for renewable energies, supported by a favourable political, regulatory and strategic landscape. The renewable sector already represents a key driver of the region’s industrial GDP, and the arrival of international partners such as these Chinese companies could further boost Navarra’s production, innovation and export capacity.

For Navarra, attracting multinational companies not only brings investment and skilled employment, but also encourages the deployment of advanced clean-energy technologies, strengthens global value chains and helps position the region as a European showcase for the energy transition. In this context, the interest shown by ChinaLink ESGT and Energy China represents a significant opportunity.
