The Navarre-based company Tesicnor has been recognized for the second consecutive year in the awards granted by the Global Wind Organisation, this time as the best training team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The decision was made by a jury of executives from multinationals in the sector such as GE, Acciona, Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, Iberdrola and Ørsted.

At an event held in the city of Copenhagen, the GWO Safety and Training Awards were presented. More than 400 wind training centers from all over the world competed for the awards that certify the most advanced institutions. In this context, the Navarra-based organization Tesicnor was recognized for the second year as the best center in the region comprising Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Among the criteria used by the jury to justify the decision, it is worth highlighting the fact that the company has been a pioneer in the sector, its commitment to best practices, its experience in the field, first-rate facilities and the capacity to provide training using different methodologies and supports, for example, with the use of virtual reality.

The recognition is a great accolade for Tesicnor’s project, as it is the only Spanish training center present at the awards. In addition, the award coincides with the organization’s twentieth anniversary. According to the company, the will continue “working to live up to this award by investing in new facilities and resources to be at the forefront of training”.

In spite of the recognition, the company stresses that “these awards are revalidated day by day, betting on our professionals, promoting innovation and new technologies. So we will continue doing the best we know how to do, working to take care of the thousands of people who work to bring clean energy to our homes”.
