The Oleofat group, specialised in the production of biofuels from waste oils, plans to invest €10.5 million in its plants in Tudela and Caparroso to strengthen its production capacity in Navarra.
The investment will be distributed between both facilities, with €7 million allocated to the Tudela plant and €3.5 million to Caparroso, with the aim of increasing the availability of raw materials for hydrotreated biodiesel production.
This project is part of the group’s growth strategy in the field of sustainable fuels, in a context of rising demand for more efficient and environmentally friendly energy solutions. The expansion of its facilities will enable the optimisation of production processes and support the development of next-generation biofuels.
Oleofat’s commitment further reinforces Navarra’s position as a region dedicated to energy transition and the circular economy, supported by an industrial ecosystem capable of transforming waste into high value-added resources.
In addition, this investment will help boost industrial activity in the Ribera region of Navarra, consolidating it as a strategic hub for the development of innovative solutions in the energy and agri-food sectors.
Through initiatives such as this, Navarra continues to attract industrial projects linked to sustainability, innovation and competitiveness, strengthening its appeal as an investment destination in key sectors for the future.
