Navarra showcases the opportunities and advantages of its industrial model to Korean investors

Viaje Corea

As part of a business mission to the Republic of Korea, Navarra presented its potential as an investment destination to representatives from around twenty companies in strategic sectors such as automotive, renewable energy, agri-food and health, as well as in emerging niches including aerospace and industrialised construction.

An industrial hub leading in Europe

During the meeting, President María Chivite highlighted that Navarra is the Spanish region with the highest industrial weight, accounting for 32% of GDP, and one of the strongest in Europe. This strength, combined with its strategic geographical location, makes the region a natural gateway for Korean investments into Europe.

An innovative ecosystem and quality of life

The President also underlined the region’s high quality of life, its safe and stable environment, and the strong drive towards research and innovation across the four key sectors: automotive, renewable energy, agri-food and health. These elements make Navarra an ideal location for high value-added projects.

Institutional support for investment

The Regional Minister for Industry and Ecological and Digital Business Transition, Mikel Irujo, explained the personalised support provided by the Government of Navarra to each investing company. Among other measures, every project is assigned a dedicated manager to guide it through all administrative procedures, shortening implementation timelines and offering assistance in dealing with cultural and regulatory differences.

Participating companies

Representatives attended from HNRE, IRBE E-center, Neple Co., onsemi Korea, Vera Wine, Liverse Co., ZZEDU Corp., CELFIT BEAUTY Co., CDTI, Dae-kwang International Co., K-careerNet, Samart Mobility Media, S.K Bridte, Spacewavy, Kim & Chang, Pérez-Lorca, BNomad, Tazebaez S. Coop, Cursus Bio and TAZEBAEZ, among others.

Commitment to electric mobility

The meeting followed the Navarra delegation’s visit to Mobis, which is establishing a new electric vehicle battery assembly plant in Noáin with an investment of €214 million – the second-largest industrial investment of the century in Navarra. This project strengthens the region’s leadership in electric mobility and demonstrates its capacity to host large-scale industrial investments.

Navarra thus reaffirms its appeal as an industrial and technological hub, offering Korean investors a competitive, innovative and sustainability-oriented ecosystem, with the ambition of consolidating its role as a gateway for Asian investment into Europe.
