The subsidiary of the Mecacontrol Group will transfer the activity it was carrying out in Linares (Jaén) to the capital city of the riverbanks with the support of a loan from Sodena, amounting to up to 880,000 euros. Tudela will centralize from now on all the production of Fundiciones Mecacontrol. This was announced by this subsidiary of the Mecacontrol Group through a press release. In it, the company detailed its intention to end the activity it was carrying out in Linares (Jaén) and move it to the capital of the Ribera del Duero with the support of an ordinary loan granted by Sodena, a public company of the Government of Navarra, of up to 880,000 euros.
Precisely, this economic support will allow the company to face the investments foreseen in its business plan and to achieve a double objective. On the one hand, to generate seventeen new jobs in the region for a total workforce of 35 people. And, on the other hand, to increase the capacity and the workload that the company can attend from the region.
Fundiciones Mecacontrol manufactures aluminum injection parts, mainly for the automotive sector, to be used in headlights and rear-view mirrors. Its staff also produces for lighting companies and ladder manufacturers. The group to which this subsidiary belongs is made up of six companies, which employ around 300 people.
