Ingeteam has completed construction of its new R&D building in Sarriguren, a key strategic project aimed at strengthening its research and technological development capabilities in the Chartered Community of Navarre.
The new 12,000-square-metre facility already includes operational office space for around 200 employees, while the power electronics and control laboratory will be fully equipped over the coming months.
This new building forms part of the company’s ongoing investment in R&D, to which it allocates approximately 5% of its annual turnover. The total investment in the project amounts to €25 million, consolidating Ingeteam’s position as a technological benchmark in sectors linked to electrification and renewable energy.
Testing and trials to be carried out in the new laboratory will focus on key technologies such as wind and photovoltaic energy, battery energy storage systems, electric vehicle chargers and green hydrogen.
In addition, the facilities include 46 electric vehicle charging points and a 150 kW photovoltaic self-consumption system, integrating sustainable solutions that reinforce the company’s commitment to the energy transition.
This new centre not only expands Ingeteam’s R&D infrastructure in Navarre, but also supports its continued growth and commitment to innovation, aligning with the region’s economic and technological development goals.
