The Stirling Centre, located in the town of Villatuerta, ‘not only stands out for its advanced technology, but also plays a key role in promoting the economic and social development of the Central Zone of Navarre’, explained Patricia Fanlo, Regional Minister for University, Innovation and Digital Transformation of the Government of Navarre, after visiting the facilities. In addition, the aid for the promotion of R&D of the Autonomous Community of Navarre has allowed this infrastructure to incorporate five new researchers in recent times.
Specifically, of the five latest incorporations, four benefited from MRR Investigo funds in 2022 and 2023, and the fifth received a grant for technologists in 2021. In addition, the Stirling Centre also received three UIE vouchers in 2021, two grants for equipment in 2022 and 2024, and support for the execution of two collaborative R&D projects between agents of the Innovation System of Navarra (SINAI) in the 2022 call.

The fundamental aim of all of them is the search for constant innovation. And, in this endeavour, they stand out for the activities they carry out in the automation of production processes, cybersecurity and management of infrastructures and systems.
