The Navarrese multinational, based in Peralta and a leader in the development of automated products and services, has had the help and collaboration of the local firms Geoactio and IED for this project. In addition, the technology centre Naitec has participated in this innovative initiative, financed by the Government of Navarra.
According to the company itself, the purpose of this R&D&I development has been to design and develop a continuous learning technology for the processes and events of the machines and the iteration of the people, optimising the service and maintenance of coffee and payment machines.
For Juanje Alberdi, general manager of the Coffee & vending and means of payment divisions of the Azkoyen Group, “by capturing data on machine behaviour and combining it with artificial intelligence (AI), we develop predictive models that estimate variables that produce more accurate and efficient models, optimising the quality of service at the machines”.
Thanks to this project, Grupo Azkoyen will be able to design automatic machines and systems capable of developing automatic learning models to improve the user experience in the operation of machines in everyday situations, optimising cash in payment devices and adjusting the amount of product in coffee machines, according to weekly and monthly patterns helping in making the lives of its customers and consumers easier by making their day-to-day lives easier and always adapting to the changing environment.
