Why invest in Navarra?

The Government of Navarra grants attractive financial aid for investments in fixed assets, R&D activities, employment and energy efficiency to favor your expansion.

Investments

Funding for investment for SMEs

  • Up to 20% of the funding needs
  • Maximum funding amount: €0,5 M

Funding for investment for large companies

  • Up to 10% of the funding needs
  • Maximum funding amount: €0.5 M

Funding for investment for agrifood companies

  • Up to 30% for environmental line and 28% for competitiveness line
  • Maximum funding amount: €2 M

R&D

Funding for R&D projects

  • Up to 80% of funding for R&D projects with a maximum of €500,000 per project and €200.000 per company.

Other funding for promoting R&D activities

  • Funding for the presentation of calls for European projects (SIC funding).
  • Funding for hiring graduates for R&D activities (Training Programme for Technologists).
  • Grants for the recruitment of doctoral students, ‘Industrial doctorates’

Funding for strategic R&D projects

  • Up to 65% of funding for R&D projects aligned with the sectors identified in Navarra's Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3) with a minimum budget per project of €1 M

Employment and training

Other funding

  • For hiring, training actions and initial costs of newly-created companies.
