At this site, the firm’s team will begin to develop the Acadiems project, a system for the generation, storage and demand of renewable energy for the electricity market. This initiative will lead to an increase in the workforce. Its landing in Navarra comes after applying to the regional government’s call for strategic R&D projects.
“Ignis Energía’s presence is growing in Navarra and we are very happy. The team has been working to make sure everything goes perfectly”. With this message, Isabel Carrilero, Chief Innovation Officer of Ignis Energía, announced the opening of the firm’s new offices in Pamplona, which are located at the headquarters of the Navarra Industry Association (AIN).
“We will take advantage of this place to be in contact with the innovation and industrial ecosystem of the region,” explains Carrilero. And in this space they will start a new project: Acadiems, an intelligent management system for the generation, storage and demand of renewable energy for the electricity market.
The firm competed in the call for strategic R&D projects in Navarra and obtained funding to develop Acadiems in the territory, which will enable new hires to be made.
Since its birth in 2015, Ignis Energía has grown exponentially to become a relevant integrated energy company. It currently has a team of more than 300 professionals.
