The total amount of the latest aid granted for this purpose amounted to 7.63 million euros, of which 6.82 million euros were earmarked for the installation of recharging points in companies.

The Government of Navarra made the last concessions of the Incentive Program for Efficient and Sustainable Mobility (Moves III), to promote the use of electric vehicles and the installation of charging points in the autonomous community. Specifically, the new investment is intended to install 591 charging points and to promote the purchase of plug-in electric vehicles and BDNS fuel cell vehicles.

The total value of the subsidies granted in this action amounts to 9.38 million euros and are distributed in two eligible lines. The first of these is for the purchase of “plug-in” electric and BDNS fuel cell vehicles. In the last concessions, the amount to promote the acquisition of vehicles amounted to 1.74 million euros. This amount was destined to help the purchase of 370 vehicles, which will expand the existing fleet.

Likewise, there was a “significant increase” in the granting of aid for the second type of action, corresponding to the installation of electric vehicle recharging infrastructures. Specifically, the total amount of aid in this line amounted to 7.63 million euros, which were earmarked to help the installation of 591 charging points. Of this amount, 6.82 million were approved for the installation of charging points in companies.

With deductions
These last grants are in addition to the previous ones, reaching 4.87 million euros for the purchase of vehicles and 8.92 million for the installation of recharging points. The aid, in the case of Navarre, is cumulative to the tax deduction, so that a private individual who buys an electric vehicle valued at 35,000 euros can obtain 7,000 euros of Moves aid, provided he/she retires a combustion car, or 4,500 euros if there is no scrapping. A tax deduction of up to 7,500 euros must be added to this aid.
