Until now, the Italian consultancy firm’s workforce in Spain consisted of 200 people. However, the addition of Biko increases Jakala’s specialized staff in the country with more than 75 new professionals.

The multinational will replace one of the furnaces in its quarry, with a maximum production capacity of 180 tons per day, with a new one with a capacity of up to 600 tons per day. This will mean a 20% improvement in efficiency.

The plant, promoted by Iberdrola and FCC Ámbito through the EnergyLOOP initiative, will make possible the recovery of wind turbine blade components and their reuse in sectors such as the energy, aerospace, automotive, textile and chemical industries.
