The new production centre occupies a 1,400 square metre warehouse in calle G, number 11 of the Noáin-Esquíroz industrial estate in Galar. Its main task will be the manufacture of bolts for wind turbines. This equipment, as it protrudes from the concrete that serves as a base for the wind turbine, ensures that it is fixed to the ground. Specifically, each wind tower requires about 200 such people. Once it is operational, Rose Holm expects to open its branch in the region next autumn.
The site will also employ around ten people and will supply its pins to companies such as Industrial Barranquesa, Nordex, Vestas, Siemens Gamesa and Enercon, among other industrial wind energy suppliers. The Noáin subsidiary is the company’s third production plant and the first in Spain.
Rose Holm, a family-owned SME founded in 1953 and run by the third generation, is headquartered in Copenhagen. In the last four years, it has established two new production plants: one in Denmark, near Germany, and one in Virginia, USA. The group employs 30 people globally.
Enrique Iriarte, with more than 23 years of experience in renewable energy and a background in mechanical engineering, is responsible for Rose Holm’s expansion in Southern Europe. Previously, he worked at Mepamsa as head of planning and production. Meanwhile, David Marañón Pérez has been appointed as the new factory manager in the region.
