The Ribaforada-based company, a national leader in savoury snacks, achieved a turnover of more than 135 million euros in the last financial year. In addition, it added three new companies to its partnership: the vegetable chip manufacturer, Viube Foods; the Pop Up brand; and Patatas Fritas Santo Reino, which has a production centre in Jaén.
“In a year that has once again been challenging due to the global situation, instability and the high prices of raw materials and energy, the Apex Group has continued its strategy of exponential growth”, its managers indicated. In this way, the company maintained a roadmap based on these strategic axes: “doubling in size every four years, gaining presence in markets and sales channels and increasing the product portfolio”.
Likewise, it also invested a total of four million euros “in production capacity”. This effort allowed it to incorporate “new talent” with which it increased “the commitment and competitiveness” of its human team.
On the other hand, the company, whose shareholders paid in a capital increase of 7.55 million in March this year, demonstrated its resilience in 2022. Specifically, it once again led growth in its sector of activity. A privileged situation that it has maintained for more than a decade.
As a result of all of the above, Grupo Apex, with its headquarters in the Navarrese town of Ribaforada, currently has nine work centres spread throughout Spain, employing 550 people.
