The agri-food company from Fontellas has been placed behind the Italian company Monini in the ranking drawn up by the World’s Best Olive Oils organisation. This ranking has been calculated on the basis of the results of the eight most stringent international extra virgin olive oil competitions currently in existence.
Aceites Artajo, located in Fontellas, Navarra, has been recognised as the second best organic olive oil mill in the world.
This is reflected in the ranking of the World’s Best Olive Oil Mills 2022/2023, calculated this year on the basis of the results of the 8 most stringent international extra virgin olive oil competitions currently in existence. In this ranking, the Navarrese mill came second only to Italy’s Monini.
In addition, Artajo has been recognised as the fourth with the best oil in the world, including non-organic mills.
The ranking was drawn up by the World’s Best Olive Oils organisation.
