The North American automotive multinational, a leading supplier of vehicle transmission technologies, announced that between this year and 2025, it will acquire machinery for its Navarre branch to the value of 6.3 million euros. In addition, this investment plan includes an item aimed at promoting and boosting R&D&I-related activities for a further 2.7 million euros. With both measures, Dana wants the next electric transmissions for electric trucks to be manufactured in Pamplona, which it expects to put on the market by the end of 2024.

The heads of Dana Automoción, a US multinational and leading supplier of vehicle transmission technologies, announced their future plans for the production centre located in the industrial park of Landaben, in Pamplona. They envisage an investment of close to 9 million euros over the next two years, until 2025. This outlay will be divided into two major items. The first, around 6.3 million euros, will be earmarked for the acquisition of new machinery.

The remaining 2.7 million euros will finance the R&D&I activities that the consortium intends to develop in its Navarre branch. In this regard, Dana’s intention is to manufacture in Pamplona the next electric transmissions for electric trucks, which it expects to put on the market by the end of 2024.

Dana Automoción’s branch in the Autonomous Community of Navarre currently has a workforce of 248 employees and achieved a turnover of 132 million euros in 2021.
