The global platform for entrepreneurs and impact investors promoted by Danone and the Social Nest Foundation has chosen the Navarre-based startup Nucaps as the winner of its first ‘Scale The Impact’ programme. Nucaps will receive 30,000 euros for its project to improve people’s health through the production of more functional foods, supplements and medicines. Another of the benefits of this initiative is that it will be able to connect with top-level international investors in order to scale its business idea.
The purpose of ‘Scale The Impact’ is to foster the growth and business opportunities of startups with a social and environmental impact. To this end, it includes a 20-module training programme as well as an individual monitoring and follow-up process with real-time impact measurement and access to top-level international investors.
Together with Nucaps, a total of 20 startups selected from among 200 projects operating mainly in the areas of sustainable agriculture, specialised nutrition, circular economy and the future of retail have participated in this initiative. All of them share the common goal of providing solutions to the most urgent social and environmental challenges worldwide.
