BeePlanet targets U.S. to sell its second-life batteries

The Navarra-based company, which had a turnover of three million euros in 2022, is committed to diversifying and internationalizing its business from its new facilities, inaugurated last week.

Beeplanet, a firm created in 2018 and specialized in the manufacture and sale of energy storage systems from second-life batteries, celebrated last Thursday the inauguration of its new facilities and made public some figures illustrating its performance in recent years and its plans for the short term.

For example, the company has progressively increased its workforce to currently have thirty employees, has already installed more than fifty storage systems (+10 MWh), has more than thirty customers (six of which are listed “in the main stock market indexes”) and reached a turnover of close to 3 million euros in 2022.

In addition, the firmparticipates in two projects of the Government of Navarra, in three projects of the PERTE for the development of the Electric and Connected Vehicle, and six European projects, with a total investment of 3.6 million euros.

As reported, the Navarrese company has among its immediate objectives to internationalize and take advantage of the opportunities that arise in markets such as the United States, Latin America and even Thailand.
