The first car to roll off the assembly line was a T-Cross with R-Line finish, in “grape yellow” (a solid, striking and sporty yellow), with a 150 hp 1.5 TSI petrol engine and DSG gearbox, destined for the Slovak Republic.<\/p>\n
Imelda Labb\u00e9, Head of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales at Volkswagen, highlighted the new T-Cross’s new design, new infotainment system and the higher quality of the entire interior. “Our compact SUV offers plenty of space for a family of five, plenty of storage space, economical engines and a high level of safety,” he said.<\/p>\n
Michael Hobusch, President of Volkswagen Navarra, highlighted the “excellent work of all the teams at the factory to raise the vehicle’s quality level even further to a higher segment and to offer a great car that meets the wishes of our customers”.<\/p>\n
Finally, Alfredo Morales, president of the Volkswagen Navarra Works Committee, said that “with this new product, we continue to take firm steps towards the continuity and improvement of a plant and its workforce with a great future”.<\/p>\n
