Twenty-three of the new recruits are men and eight are women. In addition, thirteen come from the electricity courses run by the Navarre Employment Service-Nafar Lansare (SNE-NL), ten from the welding course and another eight from the painting course. In view of these results, the President of Navarre, Mar\u00eda Chivite, said during her visit to Sunsundegui’s headquarters in Alsasua-Altsasu that the relationship between the Navarrese and Swedish firms “is a success story, the fruit of public-private collaboration”.<\/p>\n
Precisely, this link is being coordinated by the Department of Industry and Ecological and Digital Business Transition, through the public company Sodena. In addition to these training courses provided by the Navarre Employment Service with a commitment to hiring by Sunsundegui, work is being carried out by the public company Nasuvinsa to study land and facilities, and a line of financial support for the expansion of production planned by the Navarre firm.<\/p>\n
At the same time, the Government of Navarre, through the public company Sodena, has financially supported Sunsundegui with loans and guarantees amounting to 39 million euros since 2010, when it took over the company until its sale to the current owners in 2013. For its part, in May 2022 the state-owned public company COFIDES granted financing of \u20ac8.9 million to Sunsundegui.<\/p>\n
