{"id":6529,"date":"2023-01-03T17:10:31","date_gmt":"2023-01-03T17:10:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/investinnavarra.com\/?p=6529"},"modified":"2023-01-05T10:54:28","modified_gmt":"2023-01-05T10:54:28","slug":"tracasa-global-spatial-geoinformation-alliance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/investinnavarra.com\/en\/tracasa-global-spatial-geoinformation-alliance\/","title":{"rendered":"Tracasa Global, first Spanish company in the spatial geoinformation alliance EO4GEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>The Navarra-based public company joins a working network to increase training and knowledge in the spatial geoinformation sector in Europe<\/h3>\n<p>Tracasa Global, a public company of the Government of Navarra, is the first Spanish company to form part of the EO4GEO alliance, the European working network created to increase training and knowledge in the spatial geoinformation sector in Europe.<\/br><\/p>\n<p>The alliance, whose operational body is the International Geographic Information Systems Group, located in Genoa (Italy), sets itself the purpose of improving and developing the results of the EO4GEO Erasmus+ project, completed between 2018 and 2022, and which has contributed to reduce the skills gap in the geospatial sector through the collaboration of the main actors in the sector, advancing in the creation of a training and education ecosystem in this area and in the adoption and integration of geospatial data and services in end-user applications.<\/br><\/p>\n<p>Tracasa Global has extensive experience in European projects for the processing and management of satellite data and images, for example, in the European Commission&#8217;s framework contract for the validation of the Emergency Management Service of Copernicus, the European Union&#8217;s Earth observation program.
