Iberdrola and FCC \u00c1mbito have jointly launched \u2018EnergyLOOP\u2018 to carry out the recycling of components from renewable facilities. The initial goal will be the recovery of wind turbine blade components and their reuse in sectors such as energy, aerospace, automotive, textile, chemical and construction.<\/p><p>The facility will be located in the south of the community, a strategic location due to its proximity to some of the first wind farms in the country and with good connections to other regions with abundant wind power facilities.<\/p><p>The project has the support of the Government of Navarra because it is a strategic activity that positions the region at the forefront of the renewable energy sector, including technological innovation and circularity, and is aligned with regional smart specialization.<\/p><p>The plant will be the first industrial-scale plant in Europe, will place Spain at the technological forefront of this industry and will contribute to the creation of an innovative and dynamic value chain.
