Navarra-based Tafalla Iron Foundry (TIF) will manufacture the largest industrial cylinder heads ever produced at its facilities as part of a new international project with China\u2019s Jereh Group, a multinational company specialising in industrial and energy solutions with operations in more than 70 countries.<\/h3>\n

The agreement marks another milestone for the company, part of the Mondragon Corporation, and reinforces its position within the heavy-duty road transport segment \u2014 a highly demanding market with growing international demand, particularly across Asia and the Americas.<\/p>\n

A highly complex industrial project<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new cylinder heads will be used in heavy-duty engines for long-haul transport and represent a significant technological challenge for the Tafalla plant. According to Miguel Ugalde, CEO of the company, the project reflects TIF\u2019s commitment to \u201chigh value-added products, demanding clients and a strong international vocation\u201d.<\/p>\n

The collaboration between both companies has been developed over more than a year through technical and commercial missions between Navarra and China, further strengthening Tafalla Iron Foundry\u2019s ability to integrate into international supply chains at a time marked by industrial diversification and the reorganisation of strategic markets worldwide.<\/p>\n

Navarra strengthens its position as an international industrial hub<\/strong><\/p>\n

With nearly 800 employees and a strong export orientation, Tafalla Iron Foundry is one of the leading examples of Navarra\u2019s advanced industrial capabilities. The company combines foundry expertise, technological innovation and a firm commitment to internationalisation \u2014 all key factors in attracting high value-added industrial projects to the region.<\/p>\n

This new international agreement further reinforces Navarra\u2019s position as a competitive industrial territory, home to companies capable of collaborating on complex global projects and responding to the evolving demands of strategic sectors such as automotive manufacturing and heavy mobility.<\/p>\n
