The programme supports innovative health-related initiatives through specialised training, mentoring and access to Navarra\u2019s business and innovation ecosystem.<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"749\" data-end=\"1140\">Over the course of the programme, participating startups have worked to <strong data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"887\">validate their business models and accelerate market readiness<\/strong> in a highly strategic sector with strong social and economic impact. Among the seven projects taking part in this edition, two initiatives received the main award, which includes <strong data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1088\">\u20ac8,000 in funding<\/strong> and access to CEIN\u2019s growth and scaling programmes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1222\" data-end=\"1361\">The selected projects reflect complementary approaches to innovation in health, combining advanced therapies with data-driven technologies:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1906\">\n<li data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1649\">\n<p data-start=\"1365\" data-end=\"1649\"><strong data-start=\"1365\" data-end=\"1388\">Amets Biotechnology<\/strong>: Focused on the development of a gene therapy for a rare form of progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC2). The project aims to overcome current treatment limitations and improve quality of life for patients affected by ultra-rare liver diseases.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1650\" data-end=\"1906\">\n<p data-start=\"1652\" data-end=\"1906\"><strong data-start=\"1652\" data-end=\"1678\">BIKIAK \u2013 Digital Twins<\/strong>: This initiative applies <strong data-start=\"1704\" data-end=\"1731\">digital twin technology<\/strong> to healthcare, developing generative data models that support early disease detection, personalised therapies and faster clinical research through high-precision simulations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1908\" data-end=\"2074\">Together, these projects highlight Navarra\u2019s ability to generate innovation across the health value chain, from therapeutic development to advanced data applications.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2146\" data-end=\"2397\">Beyond initial funding, the HEALTH Accelerator provides startups with <strong data-start=\"2216\" data-end=\"2287\">specialised training, mentoring and access to professional networks<\/strong>, enabling teams to move from early proof-of-concept stages towards scalable and market-ready business models.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2399\" data-end=\"2791\">In addition to the award-winning initiatives, other projects in this edition explored solutions in areas such as digital tools for diabetes management, telemedicine platforms for early diagnosis and hybrid applications for physiotherapy and rehabilitation. This diversity underlines <strong data-start=\"2682\" data-end=\"2790\">the breadth of talent and technological approaches emerging within Navarra\u2019s health innovation ecosystem<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2399\" data-end=\"2791\">Programmes such as the HEALTH Accelerator form part of CEIN\u2019s broader strategy to foster innovative entrepreneurship in key sectors, combining training, mentoring and access to early-stage financing.
