The Department of Industry and of Ecological and Digital Business Transition, through the public agency CEIN (Navarre\u2019s European Business and Innovation Centre), has launched an open innovation programme involving the following companies from the region: AIT, Aldakin, Caf\u00e9s Mocay \u2013 Calidad Pascual, IED Electronicity, Lacturale, Lev2050, Lizarte, and Torraspapel Leitza. Over the coming months, each of these companies will receive personalised support to help them identify their strategic challenges, access innovative technological solutions, and strengthen their competitive position in the market.<\/h3>\n

Once the definition phase is completed, the challenges identified by these SMEs will be published. This will mark the beginning of a process through which startups can submit proposals to address these challenges using disruptive technologies aimed at enhancing competitiveness.<\/p>\n

The Open Innovation programme offers a comprehensive approach to open innovation. Even before the pilot programme officially began, a training course on open innovation was delivered, with around ten participants. This course allowed attendees to deepen their understanding of open innovation concepts and explore how to introduce these methodologies within their organisations.<\/p>\n

CEIN, the public agency dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in Navarre, is responsible for delivering the programme. It does so with support from the consultancy firm Ieteam, selected through a competitive tender process.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the development of the Open Innovation programme is part of the Tech FabLab project, which aims to create digital entrepreneurship networks. In addition to the Government of Navarre, the regions of La Rioja, Aragon, Cantabria, Catalonia, and Valencia are also participating as project partners. This initiative is funded by the European Union\u2019s Next Generation funds through the RETECH programme (Territorial Networks of Technological Specialisation), as part of the Spanish Government\u2019s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.<\/p>\n
