The latter stated that \u2018this project places Navarra, once again, as a pioneer community in the development of a sustainable industry that promotes, at the same time, an optimal economic growth together with a fair social development\u2019.<\/h3>\n<p>For his part, the CEO of SungEel, Kang-myung Yi, expressed his pride in being part of Navarra&#8217;s industrial ecosystem, while highlighting the collaboration between South Korean and Navarrese industries as a profitable opportunity. Yi stressed that this project will expand SungEel&#8217;s capacity in Europe in the key battery recycling sector and thanked the Government of Navarra for its support.<\/p>\n<p>Along the same lines, Agust\u00edn Idareta, COO and co-founder of BeePlanet, reaffirmed the company&#8217;s commitment to sustainability and the recycling of electric vehicle batteries. He pointed out that the Caparroso plant is an important step towards consolidating new forms of mobility and thanked the Government of Navarre through Sodena for its support in this strategic project.<\/p>\n<p>The plant in question will have the capacity to process batteries for up to 25,000 cars per year, which will enable it to fully recover essential materials such as lithium and cobalt.
