During his visit to the company’s headquarters in Viana, Irujo was also accompanied by the town’s mayor, Yolanda Gonz\u00e1lez; Quinmar’s general manager, Ortzi Garitano; and representatives of the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Merindad de Estella (Laseme), Mar\u00eda Luisa Elguea and Javier Aiape.<\/p>\n
Quinmar, a family business that started its activity in 1989 in Logro\u00f1o, moved to the south of the region seven years later, where it increased its production and opened up new market opportunities. Today, it belongs to the Irauli Food Group.<\/p>\n
“It is a source of pride to have companies with solid roots, especially in a sector that generates 4.5 billion euros a year in Navarre. Our community has a solid agri-food base that covers practically the entire value chain, from the primary sector to the food industry. This company is yet another example of this growth and strength”, Irujo stressed.<\/p>\n
The company, which already had 1,700 m\u00b2 of facilities in Navarre, has acquired a new warehouse of the same size. “We have large refrigerated and freezing chambers, as well as various workrooms that strictly comply with food industry regulations”, Quinmar pointed out.<\/p>\n
In this sense, its Managing Director, Ortzi Garitano, expressed his satisfaction with “the consolidation of the project in Navarra” and the investments made to grow in Viana. “We have recently joined the Agri-Food Cluster of Navarre. We are firmly established in this land and in full growth”, he sentenced.<\/p>\n
