We would like to know more about the German multinational Hahn, what makes it stand out from its competitors and what are some of the major milestones achieved in its 30-year history?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Hahn Group manufactures a wide range of products from plastics from the yellow bin<\/strong>, which many people in Europe are familiar with, but which we still have to explain here. One of our big differences to other similar companies is that we carry out the entire recovery process<\/strong>, from the preparation of the waste to the finished product, all in mechanical processes, without discharges or gas emissions.<\/strong><\/p>

The result is our registered \u00aehanit<\/strong> material, from which we manufacture boards, beams or poles, but what really sets us apart is what we manage to do with it<\/strong>. We process more than 90,000 tonnes of material per year<\/strong> and have 2,000 product references<\/strong>. Among the most important milestones is having obtained the prestigious Blue Angel<\/strong> label from the German government, which certifies a high environmental standard in most of our products.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A year ago, Hahn announced its investment in Los Arcos. What is the status of this project and what are its main objectives?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

We are completing the stages as planned. Our most immediate objective<\/strong> is to start production of our material in Navarra, which will happen in 2025<\/strong>. The demand for our products is very encouraging, and the number of machines in operation<\/strong> will increase progressively. In the long term, the challenge is to tackle the entire production process in Navarra<\/strong>, from the preparation of the raw material to obtaining a finished product, using local waste<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What strengths led Hahn to choose Navarra as the site of one of its delegations?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Navarra offered a combination of key factors<\/strong>: its geographical location<\/strong> to serve the entire peninsula, quality infrastructures<\/strong> and a high level of economic development. Added to this was a competitive fiscal autonomy<\/strong>. However, what really convinced us was the support and agility<\/strong> we received from institutions such as Laseme, Sodena<\/strong> and Nasuvinsa<\/strong>. The close treatment, the solutions provided and the availability of these entities<\/strong> made the difference.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

From the very first moment, Sodena offered us constant dialogue<\/strong> and helped us to resolve concerns, identifying possible locations<\/strong>, collaborations with local companies and other necessary facilities. Our \u00aehanit<\/strong> material is well established in Europe, but we are still relatively new in the Iberian Peninsula<\/strong>. Achieving the same acceptance and recognition<\/strong> in this market is our priority, as it will allow us to accelerate investment in new facilities<\/strong>. To this end, the public sector<\/strong> can play a key role with policies that promote the circular economy<\/strong> and sustainability.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We want to expand the use of \u00aehanit<\/strong> in markets where we are not yet well known, such as industry and construction<\/strong>. In addition, we are looking to innovate in applications<\/strong> where this material can replace less sustainable materials or develop completely new products. We call this philosophy Hanit Innovation<\/strong> and it is an essential part of our identity.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Initiatives such as Navarra Zirkular<\/strong> and Agenda 2030<\/strong> seem to us to be right<\/strong> and necessary. They are facilitating the change towards a sustainable model, and from Hahn Iberia, I am available to actively collaborate<\/strong> in these actions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

From the beginning we have been committed to a local commitment<\/strong>. We collaborate with the employment service<\/strong> of Los Arcos town council, with Laseme<\/strong> and with entities such as AIN<\/strong> and Iru\u00f1ampleo<\/strong>. In this aspect, we have found total accessibility<\/strong> and support.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At present, product development<\/strong> is carried out at our headquarters in Germany.
