The OMIX index awards prizes to the best virtual tools for promoting opportunities for potential investors.
Geovadis, a consultancy that specialises in attracting investments, has been drawing up this index since 2012. In this year’s edition, it puts Invest in Navarra in first place among all the Spanish and Italian regions that compete to attract foreign capital to southern Europe.
The aim of OMIX (Online Marketing Index) is to set up a reference index that evaluates and standardises the web-based promotion strategies of a group of public companies or agencies that compete, for market reasons, to attract the same profile of foreign investors. The analysis takes into account a number of criteria, e.g. the dynamic characteristics of the website, the quality of its content (and frequency of updating) and also its SEO position in the main search engines. It is also active in the social networks, now fundamental in online marketing. The OMIX analysis for 2016 clearly states that the design and user-friendliness of Invest in Navarra’s are key factors, pointing out that – “surprisingly” – the results of the analysis of Italy and Spain show that the traditionally leading regions of southern Europe like Madrid, Catalonia, Veneto or Lombardy are behind others that have more advanced promotion strategies such as Navarra, Trento or Aragon.
